  • The average breast cancer rate for Medicare patients in Arkansas is 2.6 percent, which is slightly lower than the national average of 2.9 percent.
  • The counties with the darkest shading on this map have a breast cancer rate higher than the national average for the Medicare population. 
  • County-level breast cancer rates range from 1.2 percent to 3.4 percent. Counties in the central part of the state generally have the highest breast cancer rates.
